It’s 7 days today since I decided to actually do something about making my dreams a reality. It’s gone quickly! Don’t you think time is flying by at lightning speed these days? I mean, we’re about at the end of May! Almost into the sixth month of 2020! It blows my mind! My daughter is going to be 26 years old next month! Twenty fucken six! How did that happen so quickly?! In my mind I still feel like I’m a kid growing up! 🤣  On a serious note though, I have been so productive and very fulfilled since starting this. I’m really busy too, doing things that matter instead of goofing off so much. And, I have hardly watched any Netflix which is a shocker because Netflix and choc chip cookies were my life! No wonder I didn’t get anything done and, I’d put on so much weight. I don’t miss either of them.

I have two websites I’m working on at the moment which is exciting and I can’t wait to see the final versions of them! I have to be so organised so I can have time to write this blog and do all of the stuff on my pledge list that I actually look forward to doing too! I like writing here first thing and saying hi! Yesterday I spent the whole day being very productive, I worked until about 10:30pm! I know, work life balance, but, when you’re on a roll, you’ve gotta grab it by the cojones (I had to Google how to spell this properly, I never knew it was spelled like this! You learn something new every day! I had to even listen to it being said so I knew it was the right word! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣).

Weight Loss

I went for my walk last night, the proper route, no slacking off, a bit of complaining but no slacking. I can’t seem to find a pair of comfortable shoes! I have spent so much money on trying to find the most comfortable pair of walking shoes in the world, but so far, I haven’t found them. If you know of such a pair, if they even exist, I’d be so grateful for a link to where I can check them out please. I broke my foot very badly fourteen years ago and I have had a lot of troubles since. Who am I kidding?! I’ve never been comfortable in shoes. I always preferred to walk around bare foot much to my mother’s disgust. But these days I’m not even comfortable bare foot. If I can find the world’s most comfortable shoes, I could walk so much further. I really enjoy walking and bike riding, as long as I don’t have to go up hills! I ate fish and veggies last night. I made my own chilli, lime and coriander (cilantro) marinade and my husband cooked it in the oven for me. Had a side of mashed potatoes and asparagus and zucchini. Yum! Writing about this is making me hungry.

My Book

I’ve got to get back into reading and editing. I’ve almost finished reading and editing part 1…I’ve got heaps of work to do! I’m looking forward to reading part 2 because I’ve never read it. I’ve just written! So finger’s crossed it isn’t a pile of crap, oh well, it’ll be back to the drawing board if it is! I made my own daily planner, it’s just a day to day planner and I break up the hours of the day and write in what I want to get done. When I have remembered to use it, it’s been brilliant. I will be using it daily from now on. I’ve got less than 365 days left to get all of this done. And let’s not mention the ukulele! I just can’t get the song, Somewhere Over the Rainbow to sound like it’s meant to!!
